2025 Philmont Scout Ranch
The Adventure of a Lifetime
In 2025, crews will learn valuable lessons in character, teamwork and leadership, all while looking out from iconic peaks such as Baldy Mountain and the Tooth of Time. Since its first camping season in 1939, Philmont has played a key role in shaping the lives of more than one million Scouts throughout the United States and across the world.
The troop is going to Philmont Scout Ranch to take part in a trek through the back-country from July 12th to the 19th. They will be participating in an 7 Day trek. The cost per Scout is 1,335 plus any travel fees to get the scout to Base Camp.
On 7-day trek they will hike for 5 days in the backcountry, with an arrival/departure day in Base Camp on each end of the journey. Crews will be welcomed and accompanied by a Philmont Ranger for their first 3 days and will participate in program activities throughout their trek. 7-day treks include the 3 hours of conservation work necessary to earn the Philmont Arrowhead Patch.
